Latest Android version 13 is here
Google finally announced latest Android version 13 in AOSP (Android Open Source Project). It means Android 13 is here for people. It’s already rolling out in Pixel devices. Later on it will be available on popular mobile brands in like Samsung, HTC, Motorola, OnePlus and many more.
What does Android 13 have?
Like Android 12 this time too focus is on Design improvement, Security and Privacy. Let’s see the major changes in latest Android version 13.
Themed app icons
Android 13 uses Material You dynamic colour to app icons. It let user to decide that whether app icon uses theme of their screen wallpaper.
App wise language preference
Android 13 provide app wise language preference to users. Now users can set app specific language other than system language of their devices.
Latest Android version 13 Notification Privacy
Now users can avoid unnecessary notifications of the app. Now every app that’s targetting Android 13 need to take permission at appropriate time (on startup in general) for showing any foreground notification to users. Background notification works as usual.
Multitasking for Tablets
From Android 12L Google is focusing on large display devices like tablets. As we have more display space in tablets Android 13 support multitasking with split screen and more large screen designs. App compatible modes for tablets and app icons with system UI that will show fit in tablets.
