WWDC 2023 is World wide developer conference hosted by Apple. It held on from 5th June to 9th June 2023. In this grand event Apple launched a number of product and existing product’s updated to customers, developers and whole community. History

Apple’s first world wide developer confernce was held on 2020. It was hosted online due to Covid 19 outbreak. After 2020, WWDC 2021 also hosted online. While only this time it is hosted online with selected in person attendees from all over the world. Tim cook generally started the key note for it. Just like Steve Jobs had launced the Apple’s iconic product.

Apple Vision Pro

Apple finally launched its first AR (Augmented Reality) handset just after Meta Launched its Meta Quest 3. Apple Vision Pro just after launched, has created a thunderstrom among fans, internet and developers around the world.

This Vision Pro launched this as their Spatial Computer, way ahead of its time. But as this launched users just remembered Iron man’s Robert Downey Jr. iconic scene with his AR and hologram 3D. Also Meta Just a day ago launched its Meta Quest 3, which is successor of Meta Quest 2. So AR industry has already made a shift where Apple just launced its one of the kind AR handset.

While other players like Meta Quest 3 uses remote consoles for controlling the movement in AR world, Apple uses more natrural eyes, voice and hands movement as input. It is most iconic and user friendly experience so far in this market.

MacBook Air 15 inch

After the success of MacBook Air 13 inch, Apple launched MacBook Air 15.3 inch laptop with liquid retina display, M2 chip and 18 hrs battery backup. MacBook Air 15″ is 12X faster than earlier macbooks with supports upto 24GB RAM and upto 2TB storage. It has six-speaker sound system with woofers & has 8 core CPU and 10 core GPU. It has now 1080p camera.

Mac Studio

With Already optimized performace based MacBook Air we have, Apple launced Mac Studio with M2 Ultra chip, which is more powerful to tradional M2 chip earlier. Now from Video editing to high end performace based tasked can be easily handled by this Apple’s powerhouse machine. It is dedicated for pro users.

Mac Studio has upto 24 Core CPU & upto 76 Core GPU. It supports upto 192 GB unified memory with 800 GB/s memory bandwidth for high end operations like video editing and gaming. It also supports upto six pro displays XDRs

iOS 17

With iOS 17 users can expect major updates in Phones, FaceTime, messages and Journal app. Phone app has Contact Poster feature that let you decide which poster (Image with text) suits your contacts. Live Voice Transcription is another major update where whenever you got some calls you will able to see live transcript on the screen about the type of call. Caller can add some initial voicemail transcript about the call so that other side can decide the urgency of the call and whether they should pick it up at that moment.

FaceTime got a major update about Voicemail. Now when you facetime someone and they aren’t available at the moment then you can share your voicemail in the form of video to let them catch you later.

Now Messages got a number of updates like Search filter, Check In, Stickers etc. Search filter helps you to search in messgae app. Voice message also have transcription feature in case you haven’t listen them yet you can preview about the message. Check In gives you ability to share your check in details to your loved ones. Stickers give you ability to create a new one with your phone media. No updates on Google VS Apple Get Message issue.

Watch OS

Watch OS 10 brought a new reimagined experience to apple watch user. Digital Crown used Smart stack which is underneath used Machine Learning. It optimize your calendar and after sliding down it shows more relevant cards to you. For Cyclist it give fall detection and more sensors support.

Hiking supports last point of carrier reception with 3D View of Compass and SOS facility. Watch OS 10 majoring updating watch apps experience for the users and closely connecting to health vitals.

WWDC 2023 Summary: Conclusion
